@TheSmashBro1 I feel the same way. Listening to the original I feel like you can connect to a part of Manson through that song. But this remix feels almost like it's mocking that by making it up beat and cheerful.

I don't mind covers, but this didn't really work while keeping the song in the same tone.
Still sounds nice, though.

The thing about this is that this song is very sad, and giving it a happy, sped up dance remix just doesn't feel right. I just don't think it fits the lyrics at all :\

i used to love marilyn manson, then found this cover and now apoptygma berzerk is my favourite band. i've seen manson twice and apoptygma berzerk once and they are both good, but i prefer Apop these days.

To all crying Manson fantards: Is this any different than what Manson did with the songs HE covered? Taking good, catchy '80s hits and goffing them up and making them "scary". Your hypocrisy in bashing this cover is disgusting, may you all die in a fire.
As for this cover, I dig it, it's different, and good in its own way.

Throwing the despair of the original out of the window isn't a bad thing if Manson can "make a new meaning" for the songs *he* covers though, right?
I'm a fan of MM, but I'm also a fan of Apop, and this cover is just a case of them taking a song and making it theirs. The pain and despair expressed by Manson in CW is his own, Apop couldn't relate so they interpreted it their way.
