  • @wonderlin1 To some (like me) this music never died off. It's great to know that listeners (like you) are discovering this great and nearly-forgotten sound. Music such as this might be "crude" by today's standards, but, it still has a high-energy, jump-up-and-down sound that today's "music" can't get near at all. If you dig this, you'll dig tunes like The Chocolate Watchband's version of Wilson Pickett's The Midnight Hour, or, The Chocolate Watchband's Are You Gonna Be There (At the Love-in)?.
