Thought I'd use this opportunity to explain this video and its conclusion. If it sounds like I'm very down on the game, I'm not - when I say "I didn't enjoy it", I really mean to say that for a game so well made (technically) I never got the feeling of 'I really need to play God of War'. I did play it solidly from the moment I got it but it was more as a way of unwinding than of an amazing and fun experience. For me this is what separates decent-enough games from great ones but I'll readily admit, as I often do, that this was a purely subjective experience and 'fans' of the genre should give it a go as they may well get the gaming 'hit' they need from it. That lack of being desperate to see the next chapter of the story told me that while it was a great game to look at and had rewarding puzzles etc... it didn't quite hit home as it should've. So yeah, hope that clears up a little the confusing ending. A technically well made game nonetheless and one deep enough and interesting/unwinding enough for me to play its sequel.
Hmm. I deeply enjoyed this game (well, actually all 3) but I guess I can understand that it's not for everyone.

I agree with you on the camera angle thing but ... well that's about it.This game sets a very good start to an epic trilogy and deserves a better score, yet i respect your opinion and understand why one might not find a game interesting just because it's brilliant.I for once do not like MGS:Snake Eater even though it's considered one of the best games on the ps2.
