Thats your opinion and you are of course entitled to it. But it's not the opinion of most professional film reviewers around the world who gave this movie positive reviews.
Perhaps Lynch just added one layer too many and your mind/imagination couldnt register it as anything but "avantgarde-crap"

This is David Lynch's masterpiece. And it is definitly the best film of 2006. By far. :)
