Selected no compression through Snapz. For the 12 sec. the mov file came out to be 400+megs. Ouch! Sent it to iMovie, selected the custom settings and chose the MOV QuickTime format. In the settings, I chose h.264 with Frame Rate set to current and Key Frames at 80. Data Rate Auto and Quality Best with Best QUality/Multi-Pass Encoding.

Final output: A little over 11 Meg of MOV file that looks like this.
