  • John Mitchell is an incredible guitarist!

  • I saw the original It Bites line up way back in the late eighties and the John Mitchell line up passes the test for me. And guess what, we now have Frank doing his thing and a band playing the classic It Bites songs (and judging by the new stuff they played from the new album it will be tremendous) - best of both worlds. Last night's gig in Yorkshire was awesome - they got a standing ovation at the end.

  • Don't call it an "oldie", John. This and other songs are the reason you are here. I am happy It Bites are still around, but this guy has the looks of a tribute band. Dunnery is the frontman. In those years FD was one of the most talented musicians/songwriters of his generation. This guy has big shoes to fill. he delivers, but he's not a frontman.

  • Great song, great memories.

  • Band members change - but so long as the music continues surely that is all that matters? The Great JM is a great musician and so is the Great FD. It's not about people, its about the music.

  • Why go on about it? I have no idea why Francis isn't playing with them anymore - happy with his solo career I guess. This guy is just giving the fans the chance to hear their fantastic songs performed live. Sounds pretty good to me.

  • It's not Francis Dunnery, therefore it's not IT BITES. Not the same, like someone else said, it's like a fan having a go. For anyone that don't know, FD has a new band called THE SYN. New album any day now.

  • He's good, but he sounds like a fan having a go... Where's Sir Francis of Dunnery. Let's be Frank here! gotta miss that tall blond helicopter from the line up.

    Mikey xx

p.s. when do they play Rock This Town?

  • Would like to thank the guys for a great show at Whitehaven supporting the Quo. CHEERS .

  • Great stuff, John Mitchell is a real talented guy if you have seen him live. Can't wait for the new album!
