Wolves is filmed in Yellowstone National Park. The viewers are presented with special images of one of the most amazing beasts of prey of North-America; Canis Lupus.
During 8 months of filming more than 40 kilometers of movie has been produced by the 7 head strong filmcrew. The filmcrew followed, lead by producer David Douglas, with their cameras on sharp the wolves over vast landscapes to get a glimpse about the life of these animals. The result of this story proves that the wolf population is recovering. Its not only a physical recovering, as a result of a special project over the entire continent, but also a recovery in their attitudes on this planet. Because of determination and coöperation is a broken link in the ecological chain restored.
In Wolves viewers float literally over the most beautiful wilderniss, a wilderniss that now again is a natural habitat for these amazing beasts of prey. But the most important, Wolves offers hope and inspiration, a view on the good work people can do when they correct some mistakes so that the healthiness of nature can recover.
The movie is made in coöperation with National Wildlife Productions and Primesco Communications. The movie was originally to be viewed in Imax theatres worldwide.

@wolfwolf220 ; Because of some cattle? Humans eat millions of cattle, so it must be because of money. Higher fences, with the capability to give low voltage shocks is an alternative
There's no reason at all to shoot them.
Personally I prefer to be a ' treehugger' than someone who's willing to kill an being who has a soul , is intelligent, and is, due to his sharper nervesystem and senses capable of feelings like fear and joy. They experience abuse as intense, maybe more intense as we do.

The Gray wolf roamed the North American continent from coast to coast and from Canada to Mexico, and he did so coexisting with the Native Indians long before the white man arrived on the scene to slaughter them both and steal the land that they peacefully shared.
Savage history cannot be undone, but let us not repeat it.
We must save the wolf!
