Too bad its not filmed in the night, hard to see the sparks :)
Nice project, you should save up for a spun toroid and plexi casing :D

This is only a test to see what the max current is that the IGBT's can handle.
I'm going to rebuild the whole coil except for the secondary coil.
All plexi and a spun toroid :)

I've been reading up on your project on the 4hv forum....nice coil!

Thnx bennem. I'm going to cut and bend my new alu buss-bar tomorrow. The dual cm300 bridge should be more then enough to run this coil properly.
Those isoplus IGBT's are just to wimpy to take this sort of a beating.
hoesnel draait je kW/H meter dan rond als je bezig bent met zo'n run?
