Its its own thing. Im sure it will be good and very different from both. I know Ill watch it. You are probably sensing the difference in how it is filmed. V was made in the early 80's I think. So of course it had the marks of that era. Stock characters, bad masks, and simpler plots. Its a great show, but thats just how they did things back then. I watched an old V show just now, and it was campy to say the least, but it wasn't meant to be. This will just take the 80's era out of the equation.

I don't feel the connection with the classic V. This looks more like a continuation to "Gene Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict" than V.
