Vesania - Interview with Daray

On April 26th I met VESANIA's drummer Daray in Belgium while he was on 25 years anniversary tour with VADER. He was so nice to find some time for a chat and for recording this video outside club Hof ter Lo in Antwerp

Out of all the bands I've met and played with, Daray has to be one of the nicest guys around. My band opened for Vader and Decapitated back when Daray first joined. The two of us got drunk to the point where he couldn't quite remember how to speak what little english he knew at the time. All in all, he's about as genuine as they come. It's a shame he's not with them anymore.

Maybe, but at the moment he touring the USA with DIMMU BORGIR!!!

In my opinion for him it is not worse touring with such a big and popular act... Hopefully it attracts some more people's attention for VESANIA }:->

he he thanks, anyway I always try my best, but I guess I cannot hide that I am German ;) You're lucky that you haven't heard me talking Polish so far muaaahaahahaha :D

guess this would be much more funny since I am just learning it for less than one year now... but I will continue and maybe one day I will do an Interview in Polish... who knows? :P

Tak, naucze troche po polsku ;) I am learning for a year already, but the class is only one evening per week so the progress is very slow... I'll be in Warsaw in the end of August for Vader's anniversary show and I planned to do the Poland tour with VESANIA in October... this will be a good chance to practice my Polish :) Maybe we'll meet each other somewhere then...?? }:->

And I watch this guy's last vids ov the dimmu concert... And thought to myself...I should be there he made a lot ov mistakes and made me wanna pown him... That's the point I'm that good now!!! It's AWESOME!

Rather tour with Dimmu Borgir, the biggest blackmetal influenced band in the world, except Cradle of filth maybe.. rather than Vader. Though they are legendary too.
