End game is very different from middle game and opening. Different rules apply. Almost like another type of game.
I get the idea that many people like myself don't like end game. I hope to finish the game in middle game, but i have suffered a few end game horrors already in matches. However if i would practice end game, i might actually start to like it and work my way to a favourable end game in the middle game.

you can say it's boring but this is very helpful !!

I would rather do Rook f8 for a draw by king v. king.

Q vs R is just too hard for me.

These are very informative videos, definitely worth remembering these rook and pawn studies for endgames. I should probably recap the first of these kind of videos to see if I actually learnt anything yet.

This is one of the best videos I've ever seen
After Rh1 Kd6 You can just play Ra1 with the advantage of having the two pawns, making it easier to play if you know the main line with just one.

To be honest the actual study is for BLACK to move in the initial position but I made it White to play and win (Rh1!) One of the moves Fila considered was 1...Ke6 (where 2.Ra1 isn't legal)
I guess the sequence 1.Rh1 Ke6 doesn't make much sense. Good catch.

Tricky, tricky. That's an interesting study.

Yep! Black's pieces are on good defensive squares. White only wins because the e pawn is one square from queening. Move everything down a rank and I'm pretty sure it's a draw.
