Delaware River flood - Damascus, PA

June 28, 2006 -- Damascus is across the river from Callicoon, FYI. Taken with my Canon PowerShot SD400 camera. The water was about 19-20 feet high when I shot this (its normal height is 3-4 feet in this stretch of the valley). This is at a lower section on the street my house is on; you can see the river has gone over the bank and into the field on the other side. If you can't hear the speech:

Me: "Hmm"
Dad: "It was a little higher at one point.."

The debris line was left behind when the water level receded.
