Milliamp LTD | http://www.milliamp.com | This device was returned to us a couple of times because the customer indicated that no sound was coming out of headphones, but each time we receive it, the device works for us. We also carefully opened it up again and checked the headphone jack soldering job and it was flawless. Time to keep it here for a couple of extra days for some very close observation to see what might be going on.

  • So the only way to replace the headphone jack is to sauder the component in?

  • @ThexHidden After we open up an iPod touch, we have to de-solder the original headphone jack assembly and then solder in a brand new one. Works good as new!

  • do you repair ipod touches even if they are jailbroken??? and how much will it cost to replace a headphone jack? or fix?

  • @tatman180 Yes, we do repair iPod touch devices, regardless if they have been jailbroken or not.

  • I have a ipod touch 2nd gen. Well now my headphones plays sound & music. But my iPod doesn't play sound or music without them plugged in? Any suggestions of any fixes?

  • @caponepg Still sounds like the headphone jack assembly needs to be replaced, so that your iPod touch can function without headphones being plugged in. Head to our site to get an order placed and for more details.
