as a student ive attended his master class few years ago in germany. he was trying to convince me that a concert performer while playing chopins 40 #1should "stay in the calm sphere" (whatever). i suppose he ment: NOT playing this piece as it SHOULD be played: like a fucking amazing revolutionary polish military POLONAISE. playing this piece not being aware of the time (/history), it was composed "into"- is mostly ignorant.
mr morgulis, i wonder if youll ever understand that..

You can always give masterclasses yourself and wait for Margulis to come to you to be explained how that Polonaise should truly be performed.
