Dante, age 3. His older brother has been clinically diagnosed with a mild to moderate form of Autism since the age of two and a half. I see some similarities between the two boys: covering ears during loud noises, scared of fireworks, flapping arms, lining cars up, doesn't like mess, holding in their poo... Could Dante have Autism too? The one main difference between them is that Dante talks, whereas Tony never did...

  • There is nothing autistic about his behavior

  • NO, there is no autism there, for one the cars are not lined up neatly enough and there are two other cars that are not included, another reason talks very well and has great eye contact, having autistic children myself an autistic child would not be sitting down doing this and certainly wouldn't know how old he was or his name, real autistic children don't start talking till they are at least four or five years of age or never, with spinning around and lining items up accurately, he is normal.

  • My eldest had amazing speech skills but still doesn't get complex speech unless it's literal. She had a dx of autism at five and is now 9years old. My youngest lost most of her speech at two and got a full dx of autism at 3 years old. They are both so very very different in so many ways even with the autism. Best to get him checked out, any early intervention is a blessing.

  • He looks PERFECT to me!! What a cutie. I don't see anything to worry about. He's answering some abstract questions...and no processing delays. Both of your son's are amazing. :) Blessings!

  • might as well get him tested first

  • he talks alot at the age he is most kids with autism dont talk until they are 4
