  • Great series of videos, thanks! What will be interesting to see is if people will subscribe to newspapers, magazines, etc. on Kindle, when they can just use the browser and read those things for free at the web sites associated with that content. Why suscribe to the Kindle version of the New York Times for $14.99 per month if I can just use the browser to go to the NYT web site and read stuff there for free. Is the paid Kindle download really that much clearer and easier to read and navigate?

  • Well, I can tell you that my wife has now taken ownership of my Kindle and has found the navigation to be quite intuitive. In my opinoin, they could definitely improve upon the scroller, though

  • i don't really like you

  • lol im not read book a lot...but dont like this type of book..the old style is better!!!

  • good content but can you position the camera over your shoulder next time?

  • Lol, i like how they give you a case to make it look like a book..Erm was this thing not supposed to replace books?..Not that it ever will of course

  • I understand, but 400??? come on!..

  • I think it has to be expensive if Amazon wants to make any money off of it. Newspapers and books are (for the most part) significantly cheaper on the Kindle than in print, and the web browsing is provided for free. If you used that service for a few years for free the Kindle would probably pay for itself.

  • too damn expensive, if it really want to compete with old fashioned books it has to lower its price..fast
