One of my favorite bands of all-time!
Dir en Grey's 2008 album entitled "Uroboros" - a single entitled "Glass Skin". I believe this song is in English.
I wanted to upload the video, but due to copyright issues on youtube, this is the next best thing - the music itself.

I think he should stick to Japanese. Anyway, Glass Skin is the first of Dir en Grey's new songs that I actually like (melody-wise). I wish they would remaster Gauze, Macabre, and Kisou and release them in the USA.

I don't know why everyone hates the new Dir En Grey. Truthfully I love their Visual Kei days and I love their current metal days. Kyo's voice remains beautiful and passionate and his lyrics remain deep and thought provoking.
All that I would like to change is their look lol. I would pay Kyo to shave his gote. Toshinya, Die, and Kaoru all look alike. I miss Die's red hair.. he looked so much hotter back then. But they still are pretty hot ^^

Just as long as they keep making great music together, I don't care too much as to what people want them to sound; there's reasons why there are more then one band in the world to listen to.

Kyo's voice is so moving.
I'm seeing Diru on the 24th January. Can't wait. <3

To see Dir en Grey LIVE is the luckiest thing to do; their the best band alive working today anywhere in the world! I was lucky to see them LIVE in Los Angeles and Fresno, California (so I got to see them twice). I love this band!

I definately will, thankyou! They'll be in Leeds, England; they're touring the UK with Mindless Self Indulgence, Bring Me the Horizon, In Case of Fire and Black Tide.
I only know MSI and Diru, and enjoy both, but it's predominantly Diru I'm looking forward to. It's gonna rock. n_n

Seeing them LIVE on stage twice was lucky of me indeed, and yes... they were stunning...
Dir En Grey puts out a great show. I'd love to see them again one day.
