Fascinating library confrontation sequence from SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES (1983). Starring Jason Robards and Jonathan Pryce, directed by Jack Clayton based on a novel by Ray Bradbury and featuring music by James Horner.

  • Excellent movie. It was Rated PG if I remember correctly. My church took me to see it. The makers of Transformers the Fallen should see this and realize that you don't have to be crude and rude to show us a fascinating movie. Yes thank you for sharing this with all of us.

  • Thank you for this.

  • I loved the movie I would say not a movie for little kids scare them my favorite movie now sensed I watched it :)

  • I just finished this book and loved it! This scene is a bit different than the book but that's to be expected considering they made it into a movie. Either way it's still an awesome scene and I just might go out and watch the entire movie!

  • @Lulza I dunno. I read the book and saw the movie many years ago. But I never pictured him as someone who got worked up or anything. I just saw this as him coldly taunting the Father and offering him his Youth back in return for getting the kids. And when the Father didn't he calmly broke his hand and left with the attitude of "I'll get them another way then. And you won't be able to stop me." But this was just my personal interpretation when I read the book. So.

  • @TheWalrusface Really? I never read it as anger or panic. He's just getting worked up and enjoying himself. He's gloating.
