What a beautiful slow runner that is! I have one, not yet built, that I intend to put in a Class A Climax. I have a small vertical boiler already from a thrown-away project belonging to my next-door neighbour - he took up fishing instead...

Good to see this set up and running. I have a TVR1A that I assembled myself, as a complete beginner. Have not run on steam, yet. Was looking at the MaccSteam 3.5" boiler, too. I want the horizontal one, though. Graham's instructions say the pressure must not exceed 35 psi for that engine. Here you are running it at 40 psi. Well, I suppose there is a generous margin of safety in Graham's design. :) Or else, I read things wrong?

Really excellent video. What a smashing engine. Answered a lot of questions for me. Also, just lurve the bucket! Thanbks you very much for an absorbing film.
Very nice Moose. Great to watch.
I've been looking for those galvanised buckets for my Märklin 16051 (yes it does drip!). Do you have a source for them please?
