Have never seen this 1981 9 ID with the city, in this case Perth posted on it !!
Had actually assumed it was only seen in Sydney and Melbourne. I know Brisbane didn't use it.

Oh, and it could also be the first Australian ident to be CGI. Though I believe the 1979 or 1980 "Still the One" animation employed CGI for that "tunnel" part - still, that was adapted from an ABC (U.S.) campaign.

I believe this was ABC (U.S) graphic designer Harry Marks' first original ID for Nine...still fantastic today.
