You must've played the board game at least once, in your life? Have you ever wondered what the actual streets look like? Well, wonder no more.
Probably the most detailed project of its kind ever undertaken, I literally drove a thousand miles to Atlantic City, New Jersey, on February the 17th, 2008, and visited each and every one of the streets and landmarks to appear in the board game 'Monopoly', all the while with camera in tow.
Do all of the streets still exist? Is there a Marvin Gardens? A St. Charles Place? And what's the deal with Short Line? My film will answer those questions, and dozens more.
I'd very recently obtained the blessing of Hasbro (the present manufacturer of Monopoly and its countless spin-offs), and am spending the next few months shopping this film to festivals around the world before it makes its permanent home on YouTube. With this teaser will be information as to where and when this film can be seen, the moment it is available, so check back often.
As an added bonus, to further whet your appetites, I'd extracted stills from my footage of every space and landmark on the Monopoly board, as they presently appear, and assembled them into an album. Here are the links:

As respects the audio problems YouTube has been having, of late (where the audio of uploaded videos are altered for the worse, which is a by-product of a mechanism that corrects videos that are too soft or loud), the problem seems to be far less noticeable than it was a week ago. The audio is still a little sketchy in standard quality, but it's perfectly fine when viewed in high quality, allowing me to dispense with the foreword in the previous posting of this. By the way, this is also posted on Revver, where the audio hasn't been altered, at all:

Anyway, my apologies for the multiple postings of this video.
The doc is 80% done; there was a permissions snag with New Jersey Transit... it's resolved, now, so this should be done before year's end.
