I need a wide-angel lens for really good cinematic movie shooting. What lens you would recommend for Canon D60?

@weeq326 hmmm high-budget filmmakers use wide angle lenses for their films? Not all do use wide angle lens for cinematic movie shooting do they? If you have an answer please have references.

@freeridezach Probably some kind of wide angle or a fisheye, maybe even a 50mm

I have a bunch of old Zeiss lens' that fit on my Canon, but none of them meet your specs described and don't even have autofocus. If I sell them all (there are 5), could I afford the 50mm 1.4?? Is Zeiss a good brand?

@ingaman Many consider Zeiss to be the greatest lens maker in the world, so yes, its a very good brand. Without knowing more I wouldn't be able to tell you for sure, but I would probably keep them. Autofocus isn't really that important in video (in fact, it kind of sucks).
