UNDERGROUND

My first Year Project, which a friend said looked more like a Third year project but nevermind.
I guess I did my degree in reverse. This film was made in responce to the Charles Menezes
shooting following 7/7. I think the media had a big part to play in this powder cake, so I spent
4 weeks filming on the London Underground with co writer and A.D. Bethan Hughes.

I had to re-load this film because You Tube changed their aspect ratio a couple of years back and all
my films ended up with a stupid black box around them.
One day I hope to re-cut this film to include all the other actors which I had created other scenes about
as I had expanded the narrative to explore one mans grief and fears of returning to the underground
in post 7/7.

This version however covers the essence of the original idea, which was about two men on a train
one English and one Islamic.

Thanx dude... I still want to re-cut it with a load of other scenes we shot, which explored the Underground a bit more and made it rather surreal, like a clinical Labyrinth of tunnels and corridors etc. but it was hard enough just to get this section to work. Anyway I'll phone up George Lucas for advice hahaha!
