1 Corinthians 13:1-3

3 Things That Will Destroy Love
Laziness
Selfishness
Lack of Respect
"If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. How Do I Leave A Legacy Of Love?
1. By Choosing Obedience Over Convenience
Jesus said..."If you love Me, obey My commandments." John 14:15 (NLT)
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails..." 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a (NIV)
"If you love someone, you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost. You will always believe in him, always expect the best of him, and always stand your ground in defending him."

2. By Choosing Humility Over Pride.
"Don't let selfishness or pride be your guide. Instead, be humble and give more honor to others than to yourselves. Look out for one another's interest, not just your own." Philippians 2:3&4 (NCV &GN)

"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."

3. By Choosing Honor Over Disrespect.
