Alicia's playing is a model of clarity and expressiveness and I just love this performance with the Tokyo String Quartet who are up to the task.

I hate to make comparisons, but say what! To me Alicia's playing is superior to Argerich in terms of clarity and expressiveness. She's phenomenal. But I have a problem with this video label. It's not Alicia de Larrocha playing. It's de Larrocha with the Tokyo string quartet who are just as important.
