This by far is the best assisted sharpener on the market. Easy to use, make a super sharp convex edge, one of our best finds for 2011! There is a slight learner curve associated, but nothing your average knife guy can learn quickly! Awesome product!

I have one and I love it, but it does have the tendency to round the tips if you are not careful.

would this sharpener work at all for a deep convex such as one you would find on a fallkniven.

My bk-2 becomes hairpopping using the lansky system... Yeah im to lazy to handsharpen it, i had a hard time with the 30 degree angle at first, seems the bk came with a 35 - 40 degree edge or so, i reprofiled it to 30 according to the lansky follower at least

Hey Adam I got a Idun for christmass. So this will sharpen all my falkniven knives back to a razor convex grind? Thanks for the vids. You have sold me on fallkniven I bought a F1 and then recieved an Idun 6 months later.

@cassanoa , I got three sets, sharpened about 40 knives and I think it maybe time to get a fresh set. Not to say the ones I have don't still have some life in them yet, bu the 6000 is almost done.
