Pit, you guys need to listen back to the battery, they are there for a reason. Listen in to each other and make sure that your notes line up with the person next to you, this will clean up the dirt and make you less prone to tearing the ensemble. Uh, good show overall, I know its a work in progress, but for the second comp, its not bad. Can't wait to see you guys next, (powhatan?) Anyways, hope anything i said helped, and please don't take offense if you think I'm out of line, I love you guys
There's a lot of body in this show and your movement into and out of the body is slow, making it look very dirty. Think about getting to your spot on the count that you do it, rather than starting it on that count.
Basses, you might be able to get away with muddling some of your parts when everyone is playing but during your solo sections, you seem very unnerved and you dont play with confidence, this is seen in your solo section especially with the split hurta sections. Runs sound decent, good unisons for the most part.
Good show, but if you don't mind here's some feedback.
Very sloppy in the beginning, the intro especially was very rough between the pit and the battery, you guys almost pulled alot. The body needs work, especially BASS DRUMS. learning music would be good too. Definitely a quad driven show, gotta give my props to my boys. Snares, diddles and rolls sound good for the most part and the book is coming together nicely, paul needs work on his hands more to be more uniform with the other 3.
