the pre-chorus? no idea wtf you're talking about. If you mean that 5-7-8 riff, he plays the minor of that riff. there's a major too which another guitarist plays to harmonize, and the major you're hearing comes from the song itself he's got playing in the background. he only plays the minor, that's all you possibly can do with one guitar.
