Traffic fails to Turn on Green light plus Illegal U-turn!

Here we are in lovely Springvale again, waiting to turn right across the main drag! Get the green arrow! What happens? NOTHING! Couldnt see but looks like asleep at the lights!
Then it make it worse, the car in front of me decides to do a lame U-turn, with NO indicators and its just TOO narrow to do a U-turn here.

@ most lights you can U-turn as long as the median strip is a metre or more wider, unless signed not to. There is no sign here, but doing a U-turn here is silly and potentially dangerous, as the road is just too narrow.
Been caught here a few times!!!

It SHOULD have a NO U-turn sign here!

As a consequence because I thought he was turning right, not doing a U-turn, I got stuck in the middle, on an amber light!
I still had to complete my turn!
NO thanks to Mr U-turn, where I like la!

I hate driving in springvale, I always drive extra cautious because of little incidents like that!

@housey107009 Yeah, I was there b4 lunch today to pick my car up from the mechs and i went for lunch after. I drove round for 30 mins, NO hope!

I had to park in Royal Ave, 3 blocks from the shopping district!

@imapplhelper No it wasnt 'illegal' per se but SHOULD be. Its just TOO narrow here for most cars to get round on 1 pt turn! Many need to do 2 or 3 to turn there, and they just hold every1 else up behind them.

I would NOT do a U-turn here.

Hopefully the council will ban U-turns here sooner or later. Its just too tight to do safely.

I don't see no U-Turn sign. I would have done the same. And I'm from Vic. If I don't see no sign, cops cant do shit.
