Here is one that made me really mad. A 2001 Honda Odyssey in excellent shape with built in Navigation and automatic sliding doors is a clunker and ready for the crusher. An 8 year old Honda a clunker? A Car with built in Navigation a clunker? This van could have made so many lower income family happy or many middle class families as well. Hondas last forever and great resale as well.

This program is SO stupid. Look on fueleconomy;gov and you will see a 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003 or 2004 Odyssey DOES NOT qualify. 1999 was the first year of the second generation Odyssey. So why only a 2001? These vans are really good on gas my uncle owned a 2003 Odyssey and he said it got about 20-23 MPG.

  • Makes me sad when I think of all the single moms, poor families, and families outgrowing their sedan that could have benefited from having this van. Way to go Obama....that's showing the struggling hard working families you care by making affordable used vehicles non existent. Don't let the door hit you on your way out in 2012 you socialist communist bastard.

  • lol i just sold one last week an 2001 oddy for 6900 lololol

whos the idiot who did this lol

  • @sideslide23 2021? what if the odyssey dosnt exist then?

  • @BrianTheeKing wouldnt you?

  • must be some dumb fat owner that so lazy sold the car by his own at higher price rather than trade in as clunkers for a few thousand rebate for his new car

  • i bet it had LOADS of miles

  • @TheNixonYears It was more th 1999-2002 Odysseys, the 2003 & 2004 were fitted with better transmissions.

  • i guarantee you that the transmission is shot! this year van has bad transmissions!

  • @GarrettKeetley the Jetta are made in Mexico, buy a Golf or Passat, there truely made in Germany.

  • pariently not every one can afford a $4500 car, in 30 years from now, the car would be $45,000 and a brand new car like a Ford Fiesta would be $120,000 and if they every do CFC again in 30 years than think of your tax payer money of $45,000 per car thrown in a junk piles?

  • I wish a had one like that right now
