  • This is fine. To me the issue is the density of the runners. In 2009 the corrals began compressing well before the start (I think they pulled the separators too early) and I crossed the start line about 5 minutes after the 10:00 am start (but could only walk). That was BAD because we runners were densely packed. I had to fight traffic the entire race. In 2010, they kept the corrals separated better. I crossed the start line about 10 minutes after the start. The traffic was NEVER a problem.
