A Montage of 'photos and Video clips of the London and South-Western Railway T9 4-4-0 no.120 which is currently on Long-term loan to the Bodmin and Wenford Railway in Cornwall. The locomotive was the only member of the class saved from the scrap yards and is owned by The National Railway Museum (NRM), and the B&WR has now been given permission to restore it to working order. I for one, can't wait to see the engine back running on its old stomping ground. For more information Please Visit The Bodmin And Wenford Railway Website

  • Magnificant engine, built mid 1901 though, so it in't victorian.

  • Well, its only a few months into the Edwardian period. The design dates from 1899 though, so thats Firmly Victorian...

  • It would indeed be good to see this elegant locomotive running again.

  • I agree, even if it is 1901, it is still as graceful as ay victorian locomotive ever was.

  • Its one of my favorites too

I've grown up with the T9, i long to see it for real
