I always laugh at these before and after comparisons. Just like in electronic stores for dvd vs. blu-ray the before shot looks like an ep vhs tape. If dvds had that quality they'd never have taken off. Obvious marketing ploy.

See, this is what they should do nowadays instead of blantently remaking Horror Movies remaster them with crisper sound and screen quality. Like they did with "The Exorcist" so that its much more enjoyable to look at instead of screwing us fans and the movie over in the ass and CGI-ing it all to shit with a "modernized" remaking of it.

You see, I love films like this. Directors weren't afraid to be bold and have movies be eerie and scare the shit out of viewers. Now days horror films suck for the most part. Because everyone's to uppity about censorship and shit like that. assholes.

Loved watching this movie, the obscurity, the anticipation, the borderline kitsch but bizarre story telling really nails it.
Too bad horror movies nowadays are just...gore-fests, I feel that they're almost too afraid to be obscure/bizarre....
