Anybody notice that when Godric met the sun, he burst into blue flames after about 30 seconds or less in the dim dawn sun, being >2000 years old, yet Russell, after Sookie's blood wore off, took several long drawn out minutes of cooking without catching fire, despite being almost 1000 years older and weakened at the moment by silver in the scorching midday sun?

I love Godric. My favorite true blood character. He's noble, self realized, honest, and look at those tatoos!! He's done horible things in the past but that's why he wants to die. He feels it's his time and he viewed humans as equals in the end. I just wanted to weep for him. The part when he was about to meet the sun and said " I am full of joy " made me tear up.

Godric isn't gay. Vampires are notoriously known for NOT having a sexual orientation. They'll have sex with anything.

@darkservantofheaven oooh okay. Thanks for answering my question. I just started watching true blood and I just ordered the books so I haven't fully caught up yet. Everyone always says how different the show is from the books.

@sexxiilibra5 most vampires in the true blood world that are older than Bill Compton, with the exception of Jessica and Pam(both of whom are much younger than him) exhibit sides of Bisexuality. Even Eric in the books has bisexual tendencies preferring women, but Godric in the books was a child eater, hence why he wanted to die, he also wasnt Eric's maker in the books, some roman vamp turned eric. then again when you;re alive for 200+ years you might love anything that has a pulse
