@phillip3567 the spirit is subject to you ! There's a thin line between faith and foolishness . He knows what he needs to do to stay healthy and he has allowed this man permission to help him do just that .

We cant be upset at the deacon for sitting the preacher down. Preaching drains you like nothing else will. He was just looking out for the well being of his pastor.

Concerned members sitting the preacher down is so not ungodly! It is an act of love and stewardship....often times when we as ministers can over exert ourselves in the preaching moment and throw off all discernment. I've seen brothers rushed to the ER! Some have died, and not it was not because of sin....it was because they're hearts just gave out...

@GBC5251 i was gonna say the same thing, my pop is a pastor and he gets so happy that members and deacons sometimes have to do the same.

@kpslamdunk I can see your view and at one time I would have thought the same way but now I understand because when the anointing is upon someone it's supernatural but they are still a human person and there's only so much the human body can take . The anointing is powerful and explosive it's only the Grace of God to be able to operate in an earthern vessel .
Especially someone over forty or fifty they can be at risk for a heart attack . .
The Anointing can go on and on and never stop

First of all I need to ask How do you know God was not pleased? Second How can you pass judgement on someone else? That deacon is one of my dads/pastor most reliable church members. You dont even know what his intent was. My dad is on the road almost half the year preaching in revivals, conventions & conferences. That deacon was looking out for his health & well being. He didn't want him to push himself too hard. Before you comment about something get the facts first.

@GBC5251 Sorry you are having to put up with so many insensitive people that don't understand why your father is bless to have someone that understand when he is near that borderline.We don't have a clue regarding your father's medical condition or nothing.I think the message that God wanted everyone to hear was delivered in fine fashion.

@hambone112191 Dealing with church folk all my life I'm used to having to navigate through ignorance. My dad is perfectly healthy Thank God but the issue is I want him to continue to be healthy. i know he has to leave me one day I just dont want that day to come too soon.
