Demi- How you feeling today?
Selena- Um. I don't know.
Demi- You do know why I'm asking, right?
Selena- (Sighs) Yeah. Today has been one year since Nick stopped talking to me.
Demi- You never really told me the story.
Selena- Oh. Well...
-*Flashback;; 1st Day of 8th Grade*-
Nick- (With a group of guys)
Selena- (Walks up) Nick. I haven't seen you in a while.
Nick- Uhm. And you are??
Selena- Stop messing around. You know who I am.
Nick- Obviously I don't if I'm asking you who you are. (Guys laugh)
Selena- Nick..
Nick- Later. (Walks away)
-Lunch Period-
Selena- Nick, what was with you this morning? Acting like you didn't even know me!
Nick- Look, I met some guys over the summer and they think I'm really cool.
Selena- So that gives you permission to be a jerk to me?
Nick- I think it's time for us to go our seperate ways. I need guy friends now. (Sees his friends) Now, stop bugging me you freak! (Walks away)
-*End of Flashback*-

Selena- And that's the last thing he said to me.
Demi- Wow.
Selena- Yeah. People always think I over react to what happend, but he was my best friend for 7 years! How would you feel if that just happend randomly?! I just miss him.
Demi- He'll come around. He'll realize that he made a mistake.
Selena- Hopefully. Well, Ima go home. I'll text you later. (Fake smiles)
Demi- Alright. Talk to you later. (Hugs her)

-At Joe's House-
Selena- (Knocks on the door)
Joe- (Opens door) Hey Selena. Watcha doin here?
Selena- Just wanted to see you (Smiles)
Joe- Won't argue with that. Come in.
Selena- (Walks in & Sits on the couch)
Joe- So. What do you want to do?
Selena- I don't know. I just came from the park.
Joe- Sounds fun.
Selena- (laughs) Not really.
Nick- (Comes downstairs) I'll be back later tonight. Don't wait up for me.
Joe- It's a school night! (Nick slams the door)
Selena- I guess he still doesn't want to talk to me, not even to say hi. (Looks down)
Joe- He's an idiot. You don't need him in your life anymore. You still have me. (Lifts up her head)
Selena- (Slightly smiles)
Joe- (Feels bad) Look, he didn't me to tell you this but he says sometimes he feels bad for what he did and at times when he sees you, he misses everything you guys have been through. He just doesn't like to admit stuff like that.
Selena- (Eyes brighten) Really?
Joe- (Nods) Yeahh.
Selena- Wow. That's so great!
Joe- Act like I didn't tell you anything. He'll figure out what happend.
Selena- (Stands up) I won't. I'll see you tomorrow, kay?
Joe- Alright. Bye. (She leaves) What have I done?

-Next Day; Monday-
Selena- Demi, my bestie. How are you doing this fine morning? (Puts her arm around her)
Demi- Ha. I'm doing good. Why are you acting like this? (Laughs)
Selena- (Smiles) Joe told me the best news ever!
Demi- (Closes her locker) Details..!
Selena- (Whispers) Joe said Nick sometimes regrets what happend last year.
Demi- No way.
Selena- Yes way! It's just a matter of time.
Demi- If he talks to you, don't forget about me. (Smiles)
Selena- Of course I won't! You were my first GIRL best friend. Nothing will EVER change that. (Hugs her)
Demi- I just needed to hear that.
Joe- (walks up) Hey guys.
Selena- Hi Joe. What's up? (Smiles)
Joe- Well, I heard Mr.Pikes isn't here so we have no gym.
Demi- Sweet!! (High fives Joe)
Selena- (Laughs) Well, I have to go see Mrs.Haynes before 1st period starts. Man, these past 2 days are the best!
Joe- (Has a look as she walks away)
Demi- Why do you have that look on your face?
Joe- I don't know if she told you what I told her last night.
Demi- She did.
Joe- Oh well, I just though of it and I don't want them to talk again.
