  • Fun-facts bout mythology: When Herakles was trying to kill the Lernaia-Hydra, his nephew Iolaos, who was his armourbearer, came up with the idea of burning the snake's heads so they couldn't grow back. Because of this, King Eurystheus, the king for whom Herakles had to do his labours, said Herakles owed him one more labour because technically he wasn't the one who defeated it. Also, the Hydra's middle head was immortal, and Herakles had to bury it under a mountain to defeat it.

  • Fun-facts bout mythology: The Nemeio-Leo (Leo means "lion" for those of you who don't know) had such thick skin that absolutely almost nothing could penetrate it, especially iron or any other metal. After Herakles killed it by snapping its neck, he skinned it using its own claws and wore the skin instead of armour. ha.

  • @HoneyGoddess57 It's called the Lernaia-Hydra. It also had mustard-gas for breath.

  • Love how that woman just happened to have a freshly cooked chicken in a basket of fruit just in case a hero happened to walk along...
