Anti-Violence Campaign GLBT Television Public Service Announcements, 1992

In the early 1990s, a handful of independent film producers made innovative PSAs in response to growing hate crimes against gay men, following the start of the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

The first spot "Chained" is a masterfully crafted visual message. Little else is known, or remembered, about the group that produced these spots. More information is welcomed from those involved. Alternative Media Information Center.
