Seems like this game takes bits and pieces from Blaster Master and Blaster Master 2. The diagonal aiming, for example, comes from Blaster Master 2. The grappling hook is a completely new addition, though.

I have to agree with you. I had to turn my volume down too because it's killer loud. However it is my favorite game of all time and so I am enjoying the old version and I am enjoying this new version. Thanks for posting all these cool videos.
