the music is very fitting

@muskiesrock1 Even if u are DNR, it's really hard to believe that's not a Tiger Muskie those stripes are identical.
-
@MegaNINJAKING That is not a tiger muskie. I worked with the Minnesota DNR's foremost muskie expert and have fished muskies for 18 years myself. The markings are similar to a tiger hybrid but not quite the same.

Nice job of landing that muskie!!

i caught a musky this summer.

Yeah thats a tiger musky, the vertical lines are not separate.
-
Very nice job indeed landing him! We don't see many fish like that in KY.
-
Irregardless of what others say about the size, you landed a damn nice musky on light tackle which makes the catch and the battle that much sweeeeeter!! The fishing Gods were with you that day.

was that weed he gave you

@tmkrjk Northerns don't grow 46+ inches in Minnesota? I'm sorry, but, I think that muskie is bigger than your northerns. I can believe you caught a 40 incher, as those are common, but around 50 inches? You must be using some giant musky bait or something.
Those Yamaha V-max's are nice motors. I'm also impressed they way they left her in the net instead of dragging it in the bottom of the boat right away, assuming they released it (hopefully) otherwise all for not.

Its a nice Muskie, but its not a giant. I have caught northerns larger than that on Leech lake MN. I hope you did the right thing and released him because some day he will become a giant.
