And? Frog song is immensely powerful and only has to reach the target's sense of hearing to be a success even if there are several hundred targets then their mind and body will be completely sealed. Nagato obviously heard it but didn't effect him b/c Jiraiya's chakara didn't reach him. Genjutsu is created when a ninja extends their chakra flow through the cerebral nervous system of their opponent to control their mind's chakra, thereby affecting their five senses.

what about tsukuyomi? u realize pein feels no pain right? Genjutsu cannot hit nagato through the 6paths that has already been proven take a look at jiraiya's frog song genjutsu.

@ulutka21 Pain wasn't "listening" to orders - he was going along with them, cause they fited his purpouse, but his end goal was clearly different from Madara's.

Again Amateratsu and Susano are jutsus and Pain has the ablitlity to negate ALL jutsus. Also sharingan illusions are afecting the victim by eye contact - at this point it isn't clear at all if it would affect Pain at all, as his eyes - Rinnegan, is where the Sharingan and Byakugan are coming from - the original eyes technique.

And maybe madara didnt know all Itachi powers (and i think that he didnt see his susanoo)

What can pain do against the tsukuyomi?

and the susanoo that has the strongest defense in the anime and has the great tatsuka blade??

@ulutka21 Can't realy understand why people continue to argue ... Madara said in the manga that Pain is strongest in the Akatsuki organisation including him and can't be beat. For the people that can't assimilate, that means - Pain was stronger than Itachi and Madara....no need to continue to argue or guess - in the manga it's written who is stringer black on white.

stop saying that Madara is stronger than Itachi.

cause if he would be stronger, then he would not be so afraid of him.

and do not forget that as Kakashi said Itachi didnt show us his all powers.

and if madara was not afraud of pain , but was afraid of itachi , it means that Itachi is stronger.

And itachi is the best character in using genjutsu, pains weaknest.#

itachi would win, but he would get really hurt after this battle, but he wont die because of the defense in Naruto.
