ur using the ones that say video on them,ive seen the norm which are level 10@30mb a sec,and i now just seen newr ones with the yellow extreme logo that are level 6@30mb a sec also,dont know wot diff the level 6 and 10 are since both the same write speed.
i knew faster was better but ur vid helpt out on the writing time etc.id be happy with just the norm,unless ur taking pics of fast moving things then you need to constantly be on the button,but ill go with the more expensives ones just in case

I know they are getting better all the time. I have only tested this card at the moment at weddings and I am very pleased with it. I think it is worth spending extra on the faster cards for the 550D.

is it necessary to get a class 6 for HD video? Cause the normal rebel retail boxes give platinum ii class 4 cards?

Good question, I have recorded video on the 550D with the Blue cheaper cards and its fine. But if you look at the instruction book for the camera it says class 6 is the one to use. This is why I recommend the card in the video as it is a good price for what you get.
