  • Jeffrey told me to comment this. So there. I suppose this is cool. I didn't even really know who James Horner was until now.

    I bid you good day.

  • james horner is a genius

  • Huge fan of his work! James Horner writes some of the most emotional and amazing pieces of music for the screen! He's my favorite film composer!! <3 It's funny how he said that he writes music like a painting...if you study music history, composers have continually looked to art for inspiration (especially in the 20th century with impressionism and expressionism). Composers wanted to experiment with the abstract. :)

  • Älskar hans musik till A Beautiful Mind.

  • There is no one better than you James! You are amazing :)

  • I love this guy. He's incredible!!! He really inspires me!!!!

  • Actually, Cameron and Horner have only worked together twice. They had such a falling out during "Aliens" that Horner refused to work with him until "Titanic." Cameron's main collaborator was usually Brad Fiedel, but he seems to have gone into retirement.

Truthfully, I think that with the exception of John Williams, all the work's going to Zimmer and his Media Ventures buddies, and their "one-stop shopping" approach to soundtrack-making.

  • he has a gift that most people don't have. There is a study going on about how people's mind process music. If you see or invision a color when listening to music, it means that you have some type of musical gift that most do not have. This was from a Nova special called music of the minds.

  • I always listen to his work:) hes great

  • Love his work

  • specifics, please?
