MAY 21 2011 IS JUDGEMENT DAY!
"Alone he fought against his own dark passions...against the taboos of an outraged world...knowing that the shocking truth could ruin his career...destroy his marriage!" (From movie poster)
This is a fascinating film and Monty gives an excellent performance as Dr. Freud. I'm quite a fan of this movie! There is much to be appreciated, from the amazing cinematic style with it's perfectly framed scenes, to the story itself which unfolds like a mystery. I particulary enjoy the clues that have been sprinkled throughout the movie. Some are more obvious than others and on Part 14 of 14 I've listed some of the more curious ones that I noticed (Freud fans, please offer additional clues that are not overt, I'd love to discuss.)
Starring Montgomery Clift, Susannah York, and Larry Parks. Directed by John Hutson. (1962) NY Times Critics Choice.
nice flick thanks for posting, don't drop the soap around clift because that is not a cigar in his hand!

Really not into the whole facial hair thing. As much as I love Montgomery he's much better looking without the beard.
