UW (University of Waterloo) Plaza Damaged in Fire

A fire near UW (the University of Waterloo, Canada) began around 5:30am on April 22, 2010 at 140 University Ave West. Explosions can be seen from the kitchen in Mel's Diner. Scotia Bank, Mr. Sushi, University Vision Centre, Sugar Mountain, and Tabu Nightclub burned down. Caesar Martinis appears to have been protected by a fire wall. My roommate filmed this clip after 6am from our apartment on Lester St.

Big thanks to the fire department workers, and condolences to the affected business owners and employees -- I hope everyone recovers okay.
