To each his own, everyone has there own likes or dislikes. Many are going for the replacement of the two-bladed propeller by a three-bladed Mulbauer MTV-9 propeller. For some this is an improvement for others they dont see the need. But overall, the Yak is an excellent plane with 2 or 3 blades.

nice video. What's that strange antenna in the top of the wings?

Actually, those strange things on my wing are sighting devices used in flying competition aerobatics. I simply line up the appropriate line with the horizon which in turn puts the attitude of the aircraft where I want it.

Have you thought about switching the 2 blade propeller to a 3 blade one? I hear is good to improve the climb rate. I'm in search for a Yak 52, to purchase. Not for heavy aerobatics maneuvers thought. I hear that the 3 blade props are a good upgrade but the Yak 52 TW upgrade is too high for my budget.

I get this question a lot and the answer is no. The 3 bladed prop does not look right on the Yak 52. In the US, the Yak registered in the Experimental category which allows us to make modifications to the airframe and power plant. We have altered the pitch of the two bladed prop to absorb the 400 plus hp. I would put my 2 bladed Yak up to any 3 bladed Yak any day.
