  • How the hell did Ezra "post hate"? He published a NEWS magazine, running a story on the Islamic uproar over a series of cartoons (2 of which were proven to have been drawn by mullahs themselves, to whip up riots). If he committed LIBEL, that's what the civil courts are for, not these 2nd-grade kangaroo courts. Pull your head out of your ass.

  • What a joke a human rights commission gets a failing grade in ethics from the government watchdog group.

This is a slippery slope folks, they are saying free speech is allowed .... somtimes. Who decides this, and what are the ulterior motives? This is the first step to banning other speech that the government wants censored.

  • The Human Rights Comission should be disbannded.

  • No more gestapo.

  • I thought the GOVERMENT of BRITISH COLUMBIA was supposed to stand up for the rights of CANADIANS,Not violate them.

  • to the disbelievers / atheists ..( wat i m is not important.. u can think of me as anything u like :) )

"say to these disbelivers in His one-ness, i worship not that which you worship, nor will u worship which i worship,n i shall not worship dat which u are worshiping, nor whill u worship that which i worship, TO YOU BE UR RELIGION , AND TO ME MY RELIGION"

  • Very well said. As an atheist I agree with you completely.

  • Both superstitions claim that their "unchanging god" and his/her/it's/their "moral laws" are morally perfect; that being the case, how come those laws were changed so often? I know for a fact that I'm morally superior to the "god" presented in the little magic books of BOTH of these superstitions, and so are the vast majority of the rest of humanity. I don't single out Christianity for any special "hate", ALL religions are ignorant superstitions, but few carry them to such extremes.

  • Lying about what, exactly? I get it that you have a simpleminded and puerile hate of Christianity; I *used to* be like that myself.

To appreciate my point compare what Muhammad (piss be upon him) said to do to adulteresses with what Jesus said. That's just one point of contrast, too, but it's a telling one. Another is "love your enemies." The irony is that you would probably have no difficulty in admitting that Buddhism is morally superior to Christianity-though monks can be jerks to laity.

  • So, you're now claiming that the little magic books of Judaism and Christianity are both LYING when they claimed that their imaginary "god" set down their immutable laws as perfect? Your argument is reduced to claiming that "yes, this superstition is evil, but at least not as evil as that superstition"; EVIL is EVIL, no matter which imaginary magic man in the sky you claim to believe in, and no matter how "moderate" you claim that evil to be in comparison to another evil.

  • Yes, the Yahweh described in the Tanakh is a monster, but even back then he showed signs of being superior to Allah. He deigned to make contracts with lowly humans, for example, something Allah is too good for. Yahweh is described as having ordered the Hebrews to commit genocide, but even that was localized in time and space, unlike the universal commands of the Qur'an to convert, dhimmify, or kill. You're apparently also ignorant of the moderating influence of such things as the Mishna & NT.

  • No, instead they're emulating the example of their imaginary "god". The best argument against believing in ANY of these superstitions is to actually read what they claim to hold "sacred", and by that standard, the Christians fail just as badly as the Muslims do.
