We talk to DJG whilst we hosted him in the UK to play at GetDarker at Cable on 1st June, and GetDarkerTV and discuss the forthcoming release on GDKR005 out on 16th July 2012. Topics of discussions include the stability of dubstep in his home city San Francisco, his taste of music before dubstep existed, and why he chose to release on GetDarker over and above many approaches from some significant dubstep labels.

so have i, dont get me wrong.. but we used to do it and just have a good time with everyone.. meet new people and be cool.. i stopped going when it stopped being about music and started being all about snapbacks, raybans, sweaty topless dudes and moshpits.. the people you get in there now couldnt really care less about the tunes they just wanna eat as much mandy as possible.. it was good around 8 months ago.. i haven't been there since the this is dubstep launch party.
