Medical Marijuana prohibition. A very sick law.

Communication with me from the UK home office and thier statement with regards to medical marijuana and the people who use it.

Five people have all been found guilty over the past few months. Mark Leslie and Marcus from THC4MS. Grany who eats cannabis Pat Tabram and Jef Ditchfield. They all deserve a medal not a punishment.

I did not finish reading the home office reply but that continues in the follow ons.

I'm on a waiting list for Sativex but I expect to be turned down as many people are.

Our government has absolutely no respect for human rights. Many suffer while the pockets of a few are lined with dirty money. I feel like I'm living through a sort of slow motion Holocaust! All I want is contentment but I don't get any without Cannabis. The government forget that they work for us. We vote for them and put them in power. How quick they are to forget that.

yes and most if not all of those medications have far worse side effects than cannabis.

yes, and if my memory serves me correct, marinol is synthetic and is not as beneficial in pain relief as natural herbal cannabis. Herbal medication is a question of self education.

The government, any government, could care less about public safety. The only reason why they do anything is to further their own political careers. They aren't public servants, so much as they're servants to individuals and institutions that will make them richer and more powerful.

If they are not allowed to make drug busts, how will any local gov't make money?? I know in south TX our poor local police would b subject to acctually taking care or real business if drugs(i.e. mary jane) were legalized...and who wants that?? LOL! Officers who actually spend time with the public instead of looking for a reason to beat them down. It's all about money- drugs, gas , politics....all about that dollar...makes me sick

Everyone start calling it by it's real name, the government use the word "Marijuana" to mock down cannabis, as Marijuana is a tobacco plant, cannabis isn't tobacco =]

In the UK we make massive amounts of sativex which is largley sold to the canadian market. The reason we make it is drug companies like it because they can sell it.

Yet it is hard to regulate how much you take and causes adverse side effects as a result. And the reason they give for not just letting patiants use the natural buds of the plant? Smoking, which can be got around by the use of a vapourizer which is exactly what medical marijuana patients use in the US and canada.

what the feds are trying to tell us is this, get drunk, fight, wreck your car, beat your loved ones, vomit, over dose, comatose your self ,steal, damage your insides, damage your nervous system, give yourself chronic pancreatitis and other aliments... rather then smoke some pot and listen to music, create art, and keep on living. the feds are getting money from busting pot and keep making alcohol the popular recreation. 1930's bullshit still works to this day, amazing.

In future people will laugh at the 'ancient' cannabis prohibition, it will be looked back upon as totally wrong and illogical, as the biggest mistake in human history.

I know, governmental answers to cannabis issues.. crazy stuff! They try to be as kind as possible, but hit you in the face at the same time ;D
