A Puddle of Mudd plays an old favourite at Ohios ROTR 2010.

This is the third video placed by the uploader of this video into a playlist containing all of the videos captured on Day 1 of this two-day festival. The playlist can be accessed at this link: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=9CD9DD7C06E6AF3B.

(The poor sound? A newly-bought Sony-Cyber-Shot 10.2-Megapixel Digital Camera-HX5V was used to capture all of the videos taken on Day 1 of ROTR 2010. The sound quality turned out to be disastrous and the camera was returned to Best Buy for a full refund. Sound quality returns to the usual acceptable quality on videos captured on Day 2 of ROTR using my old Sony camera. Moral: if you plan to shoot loud music videos, do not buy a Sony HX5V digital camera.)

  • not sure what kind of camera you had to begin with dude, but i took a cyber shot that you are talkin about to ROTR and my vids turned out fine.....as do most all of my vids taken at concerts, it may have just been bad acoustics where you were standing going into the camera.....idk....just a thought, or that particular camera itself....

but overall, thanks for adding this, i missed POM so appreciate you posting

  • @sizzle4550 It wasn't where I was standing! :) I think I stated clearly enough that I had had several Cybershot cameras, and was moving "up" to this one with a stereo microphone. In other words, I stated that most of my Cybershots until this Sony non-Cybershot (supposedly a Sony product one class higher than a Cybershot) had given me NO problem. So, the fact that you took a Cybershot there and had had no problem with it was actually a non-issue, not something that I was trying to raise. :)

  • epic crowd surfing

  • @thestrawhead

This is 100% incorrect, I enjoy music that is straight from the heart, pure emotion and spontaneity, rock n roll is meant to be crazy and changing at a moment's notice. When I see a band live, I want a new performance in itself not a recreation of the studio recordings. Its clear to me that these 90's band wagon post grunge wannabe's are in it for the money, they're using a crutch (the backing track) to get them through just another boring performance that the masses will eat up.

  • man i should've fuckin gone! i went to the one the year before that, but it sucked compared to how this would've been! sevendust, these guys, many, many other bands

  • @backpackdave2010 thankyou so much for posting this video. I was thinking of buying the DSC-HX5V for filming rock music gigs but now I certainly won't! Could I ask you can you recommend a camera for its video sound quality. I already have a DSC-T70 which the sound is amazing but I would just like bigger zoom than 3x optical. Thanks again!

  • i love how the only hard part of the song is the intro which are natural harmonics... and no one even plays it... that pisses me off. i seen them last night, and it made me mad.

  • @jesszilla18 modern rock? they been around since the 90's dude lol

  • @backpackdave2010 -- i wasnt argueing with you about cameras either :) just merely trying to offer mabye it was just that particular camera itself....ive had several cyber shots myself.....aside from all the camera talk, ROTR was a killer time and all the bands were pretty great, had a great time myself, and hope you did as well :) again, glad you posted this so that ppl who missed certain bands (like myself who was there) could see it, or for those who werent there at all, can enjoy!

  • @jesszilla18 You must be young. You sound like a rock fan putting down rock....keep it up and it will be all hip-hop on the radio. Your favorite bands(at least one at one point) will use a backing track, and somebody will pick them apart for it, and not pay attention to the other 90 percent of what is going on, or the fact that they actually wrote and played the music, and they will just miss the point, because they just don't like the band, and another rapper will be signed.
